Veritec-Tohken Delivers Handheld Reader for LCD Market8 December 2004
Veritec, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VRTC), an innovator of two dimensional barcodes, and Tohken, an automatic recognition system integration company located in Tokyo, Japan, have teamed up to provide its first handheld reader designed for the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and Flat Panel Display (FPD) industry. The reader combines the robustness of the two-dimensional matrix VeriCode decoding software with the superior reading hardware of Tohken.
This partnership between Veritec and Tohken provides a handheld reader that can be used within the LCD and FPD environment. "We have been long wanting a VeriCode handheld reader that has high enough resolution to be used in the LCD industry.
