The Villages Locks Out Mail Threats with SonicWALL Email Security20 April 2006
SonicWALL Inc. (Nasdaq: SNWL), a leading provider of comprehensive network security solutions, today announced that Florida real estate developer, The Villages, has installed SonicWALL Email Security technology to prevent email threats such as spam, phishing, directory harvest attacks and viruses, from blocking the productivity of its 2,000 employees. The Villages has been able to free the network from a flood of junk email, which previously accounted for almost 85% of inbound traffic, making its email systems more reliable and secure.
The MailFrontier Gateway Appliance chosen by The Villages is now included in SonicWALL's portfolio of market-leading secure content management offerings as a result of SonicWALL's recent acquisition of MailFrontier. The Villages selected the appliance because of the effectiveness, ease of administration and control it delivers to end users.
Located in central Florida, just north of Orlando, The Villages is an active adult community for 55,000 residents focused on providing an active lifestyle for retirees.
