Statmon Technologies Corporation Will Demonstrate Cost Effective, Robust and Scaleable Approaches to Remote

16 April 2005

Statmon Technologies Corporation (OTCBB:STCA - News), one of the leading providers of IP network-based remote control and monitoring systems, will demonstrate its industry leading remote control and monitoring capabilities at NAB2005, April 18-21, 2005, Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendees can view demonstrations of Statmon's ground -breaking technology at the Statmon booth (C-11404).

EIF-32 Stand-Alone Remote Control and Monitoring Interface on Display

At NAB2005, Statmon will display for the first time its new EIF-32 Standalone Remote Control and Monitoring Interface. The EIF-32 is an intelligent interface with a built-in CPU, providing automated monitoring and control of remote equipment at transmission sites. Using the 1RU EIF-32, broadcasters can remotely control devices and equipment situated out in the field, retrieve critical data and make adjustments on up to 192 channels through the Neuro(TM) SV web browser utility, without actually visiting the site. Statmon's Neuro Embedded Software Engine & Database has been exclusively designed for use with the EIF-32.

Neuro incorporates features of Statmon's award winning Axess(TM) with the added benefit of self-monitoring and "stand-alone" operation or multi-site operation in conjunction with Axess.

Attendees Can Register to Win an EIF-32 at the Statmon Booth

Active broadcast engineers currently employed in the broadcast industry can register to win an EIF-32 system at the Statmon booth by providing a business card to a Statmon employee or filing out an entry form. The winner will be announced on Thursday, April 21, 2005 and need not be present to win.

UIF-32 Monitoring Interface Upgraded

Also on display at the Statmon booth will be the recently upgraded UIF-32 Universal Interface, a cost-effective way to connect a wide range of devices (up to 96 channels) via serial or TCP connection on WAN, LAN, Internet, at a transmission facility site. This stand-alone passive device can relay "real time" information for devices such as temperature sensors, door alarms and tower lights.

For NAB2005, the UIF-32 has been upgraded to include built-in temperature and humidity sensing and built in mains voltage monitoring and AC/DC operation. Versatile and rack-mountable, the UIF-32 can be connected to up to four additional UIF-32s for even greater expandability.

Both the EIF-32 and UIF-32 can be paired with Statmon's remote control and monitoring software package, the Axess(TM) Software Engine. Axess uses the power of Internet Protocol (IP), which allows operators of any technical level to fully monitor and control diverse devices and equipment (Sensors, RF controls, HVAC systems, security alarms, tower lights, etc.) for single or multiple transmitters at a site or multiple sites in different locations around the globe.

Statmon Releases Axess v.6 and Offers NAB Discount

Statmon's award-winning Axess Remote Control and Monitoring Software features a scaleable, user-friendly, unlimited channel capacity solution that requires centralized remote control and monitoring for multiple transmitters at a single site or multiple sites in different locations. Axess has a proven track record and is currently in use in many leading broadcast facilities worldwide.

For NAB2005, Statmon has announced the release of version six of the Axess software and a 10% NAB discount for existing customers. With Axess v.6, engineers and system administrators have: access to an SQL database; automatic RAS Dial up and Dial On-Demand; enhanced security with enhanced 128-bit encryption safeguards; powerful Event Viewer in Crystal Reports format; automatic systems updates and downloads; and SCL and OVI improvements.

Axess and Neuro software communicate through serial ports, Ethernet connections and/or standard parallel interfaces resulting in greatly reduced, time-consuming installations and configuration. The Windows-based software program enables system administrators and engineering resources to efficiently and cost-effectively monitor their system from any computer connected to a network or the web using a standard web browser.

Another new release for NAB2005 is the ECU-86 Interface. The 1RU ECU-86 with an embedded CPU has been designed to manage SNMP and serial devices making it ideal for monitoring devices such as a transmitter over WAN, LAN or Internet. The ECU-86 will be on display in the Statmon booth.

In making this announcement, Statmon Technologies Corp. Chief Executive Officer Geoffrey Talbot said, "In an era of consolidation and multiple site administration from one central location, the smooth operation of facilities has become an increasing complex task. Statmon's flexible approach to remote control and monitoring is the ideal choice for engineers and administrators looking for a one-package solution to control and monitor all the equipment at all of their facilities and remote sites."
