Security Researchers to Demonstrate 25 New Tools and 15 New Exploits at Black Hat USA 2006 Briefings on August 2-3 in Las Vegas12 July 2006
Black Hat, a digital security division of CMP, today announced researchers will demonstrate twenty-five new tools and fifteen new exploits during the Black Hat USA 2006 Briefings to be held on August 2-3, 2006 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Black Hat USA 2006 Briefings will attract over 3000 technically advanced computer security experts, bringing together a unique mix of federal agents, corporate security professionals, and the best underground hackers.
On August 2nd at 09:00, Dan Larkin, Unit Chief of the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center will open the conference with a keynote on Fighting Organized Cyber Crime.
"The FBI, in partnership with key SME's from industry, continues to identify sophisticated malware, and a variety of new social engineering scenarios, which are increasingly used by international organized cyber criminals," said Larkin about his upcoming presentation.
