Patron Systems Partners with TriTech Software Systems to Serve Minneapolis Police Department18 December 2005
Patron Systems, Inc. ("Patron") (OTC Bulletin Board: PTRS), a provider of proprietary information security solutions offering homeland security and legislative compliance to corporations, municipalities, counties and states, today announced that its co-marketing partnership with TriTech Software Systems ("TriTech"), a premier provider of multi-agency public safety software solutions, has resulted in an installation of FormStream(TM), Patron's automated field reporting system, for the Minneapolis Police Department. As announced on September 23rd, Patron and TriTech are jointly marketing Patron's FormStream(TM) solutions which add real-time, interoperable, field- based reporting capabilities to TriTech's VisiNet Mobile(TM) wireless PC-based computer-aided dispatch ("CAD") system. The unique combination of these commercial off-the-shelf product offerings delivers a comprehensive, seamlessly integrated "office-in-the-car" solution for first responders enabling public safety personnel to quickly transmit and share real-time incident report data, improving the accuracy of information and the overall responsiveness to emergencies. FormStream(TM) will enable Minneapolis Police Department officers to generate automated field reports which will be integrated with TriTech's VisiNet Mobile (TM) CAD system to move dispatch and query data directly into the field report eliminating time-consuming manual data entry by officers. Data from the automated field reports will be sent to and integrated with the Hennepin County and Minneapolis Records Management Systems. By seamlessly integrating FormStream(TM) with VisiNet Mobile(TM), Patron and TriTech have created a comprehensive two-way, computerized communication system between command centers and first-responders. The integrated solution enables first responders to receive mission critical information in the field and report real-time incident to supervisors and other law enforcement persons to centralize and better manage operational response. "As we have seen in all recent national emergencies, real-time and interoperable field reporting is absolutely critical to determine and assure timely and precise resource allocation by public-sector decision-makers," stated Robert Cross, Patron's Chief Executive Officer. "We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with TriTech to equip the Minneapolis Police Department with a comprehensive, seamlessly integrated office-in-the-car solution that enables this critical functionality."
