Neotel Announces the Newest Addition to the SignHere(TM) Family: SignIn(TM)

Neotel International Inc. ("Neotel" or the "Company"), building upon its flagship SignHere(TM) product today announced that its New Products Group (NPG) has developed an exciting new addition to the SignHere(TM) family of biometric solutions. SignHere(TM) is a "people friendly" biometric based on the human act of signing your signature. "It's as easy as signing your name"!

SignIn(TM) is based upon the same core user friendly biometric technology. Development of the newest addition to the SignHere(TM) family was a direct result of consultation and co development with key organizations to address critical business requirements.

SignIn(TM) is a customized version of SignHere(TM) developed for Workforce Management business processes and applications. Healthcare, Retail and Manufacturing industries rely heavily on the equivalent of "time clocks" and "punch cards" to track employee transactions. Many businesses use the time punch transactions generated for the basis of internal cost accounting at a departmental level, especially in large retail operations. Current "punch" processes can also lack the proper controls allowing for cards to be punched with or without the true owner of the card being present. Current devices also have prohibitive capital costs and poor user acceptance.

SignIn(TM) will provide "certain of identity" for workforce transactions. Using lower cost devices like PC tablets will dramatically reduce capital costs of devices. The user experience of "punching-in" will be replaced with a much more pleasant and acceptable experience of "Signing-In." The identity of staff can be validated at the time of signing and a persistent audit trail will be maintained for future verification of identity and participation using the strong evidence features of SignHere(TM).

"The customization of SignHere(TM) to create SignIn(TM) has been based upon extensive consultation with leaders in the Workforce industry such as Kronos Canadian Systems Inc," says Cam Johnston Chief Technology Officer of Neotel. "Based on what we have learned in creating SignIn(TM) we have identified other industries and business processes where new customized versions of SignHere(TM) and SignIn(TM) will be created and will be brought to market.

One of the most compelling features of SignIn(TM) is the dramatic improvement in the user and signing experience. Instead of punch cards and clocks SignIn(TM) can be configured to provide the desired type of user experience or interface required. Built on a web interface SignIn(TM) can quickly and cost effectively be adapted to meet the needs of any business process, its presentation and its inherent controls. As a web based application SignIn(TM) can operate on tablet PC's, PDAs or Kiosks. This enhanced user experience will increase usage and adoption rates, accelerating ROI.

SignIn(TM) transactions will be transmitted in any predetermined format, using XML, to existing Workforce management and HR applications. This will not only preserve existing investments in people, process and technology it will also minimize costly integration. Information captured at the time of a SignIn(TM) transaction will be performed in such a manner as to create legally binding evidence directly connecting an individual's identity with their active participation in a specific transaction. A complete and persistent audit trail will be provided that adheres to the rules of evidence required for legal proceedings.

SignIn(TM) will be commercially available in March of 2007.

Neotel's New Products Group (NPG), formed in 2005, addresses the issues of how to conduct business electronically with the same certainty as in the paper world. Neotel was granted a Canadian patent for the SignHere(TM) identity capture and authentication system.
