Continental chose McAfee's proactive technology to displace its legacy security solution because of McAfee's forward thinking vision and multi-layered approach to mitigating the risk of non-compliant systems.
Continental Airlines needed a solution that could improve its visibility into the company's IP connected devices -- providing the IT department with a detailed insight into its assets, applications and their associated risks. Continental Airlines' previous security solution had only five management consoles and took days to provide the latest updates. With McAfee ePO's centralized management capabilities, Continental Airlines is now able to obtain a comprehensive view into their systems under a single console and can receive anti-virus updates within hours. McAfee also helps Continental Airlines to continue with their patch management process on a scheduled basis.
