McAfee, Inc. Names Dave Dickison North America Channel Executive

McAfee, Inc. (NYSE: MFE), the global leader in Intrusion Prevention and Security Risk Management, today announced that Dave Dickison will assume the role of senior vice president North American Channels. Dickison's appointment demonstrates McAfee's continued commitment to delivering on its channel strategy and supporting its award-winning McAfee(R) SecurityAlliance(TM) global partner program.

In this role, Dickison's focus will be on the profitability of its partners - developing deeper relationships with networking solution providers, ensuring partner enablement with tools and program offerings, creating a services-enabled channel, and focused spending to increase SMB market share through its solution providers.

A McAfee veteran for nearly a decade, Dave Dickison brings a proven track record to the position. Most recently as vice president for System Security in North America, he has consistently executed by increasing sales productivity more than 300 percent during the past 24 months. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales, Networking Solutions. Dickison has demonstrated his commitment to the channel by creating channel rebates, developing channel lead distribution methodologies and enhancing McAfee's deal registration process.
