Firefox browser is secure and reliable. Rich media vendors are beginning to have build-in Firefox capabilities

The Mozilla Foundation started the development of today's award-winning Firefox web browser in 1998. Because of the vulnerability of the IE browsers (e.g. spyware), many IE users are beginning to move towards Firefox browser. This browser is simple, friendly, efficient, and most importantly, extremely reliable in security. In order to compete more effectively for the browser market share, the developer is incorporated with standalone Thunderbird email software, which is capable of filtering junk emails. In addition, the next generation browser has many unique features including pop-up blocking, tabbed browsing, smart searching, and hassle-free downloading.

In May, 2005, Firefox's market share went up from 7.38% in April to 8% (NetApplications.com, an Aliso Viejo, CA) making them the most popular, secure, and reliable browser. Dan Sharperio, NetApplications.com's chief operating officer said that Firefox browser could give a rapid boost to its market share if the browser becomes standard usage in the large corporations.

Because of million of users are now converting from IE to Firefox browser, the IE's market share is falling from 88% to 87.23% (NetApplications.com, an Aliso Viejo, CA). With this in mind, it is not surprise for two rich media vendors, Eyeblaster and PointRoll announced that they have built-in Firefox compatibility (Clickz.com, Z. Rodgers, June 2005). Certainly, publishers now have the flexibility of displaying various rich media ads on Firefox browser, which in turn, increasing their earnings.
