FaceKey Corporation to Introduce Face Tracking Software for Surveillance

19 January 2005

FaceKey Corporation (Pink Sheets:FEKY) announced the introduction of the Company's multiple face tracking software engine. The advanced technology behind this software enables companies to extract and view faces from a streaming analog or digital video with great speed and efficiency. By utilizing this technology, the amount of time that companies' employees spend monitoring surveillance video would be greatly reduced while simultaneously increasing the amount of surveillance videos that one person can effectively monitor.

"FaceKey's multiple face tracking software engine will provide a considerably more powerful and versatile product than is available in the current marketplace. While our facial recognition products are currently utilized to provide secure access control to organizations such as nuclear plants, refineries, petro chemical plants, banks, manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and food, with this new software, these products can now be utilized to increase efficiency in surveillance capabilities to benefit a greater variety of customers," commented Yevgeny B. Levitov, President of FaceKey Corp.

Annette H. Starkweather, FaceKey Corp. COO added, "On a recent trip to Las Vegas, we discovered that casinos represent a largely underdeveloped market that could benefit from FaceKey's biometric products. Based on discussions we have had with casino personnel, our multiple face tracking software engine would greatly improve the speed and efficiency of current surveillance methods used by many Las Vegas casinos to screen their crowds for persons that could pose a security threat. For example, casino employees could effectively monitor a much larger number of screens due to the capacity of our engine to quickly store facial profiles into a single database."
