Cadre Becomes Authorized Training Center for Blue Coat

Cadre Computer Resources Co. announced it has been selected by Blue Coat(R) Systems, a leading provider of proxy appliances, to become a Blue Coat Authorized Training Center (ATC) in the U.S. Under Blue Coat's ATC program, Cadre will provide product training and fundamentals that enable administrators to become fully proficient on all aspects of the Blue Coat ProxySG(TM) and ProxyAV(TM) product technologies.

Cadre's world-class training facilities are located in Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh Pa.; Indianapolis Ind.; and Louisville Ky. At each location, Blue Coat products have been integrated into a lab network to permit live demonstrations and hands-on learning. Detailed practical information is presented along with hands-on lab exercises for participants.

Cadre's first Blue Coat course offering will be Proxy Fundamentals geared towards those who will administer Blue Coat proxy appliances. Also offered is the Advanced Proxy Solutions class for those who need to understand and implement the advanced features of Blue Coat's powerful solution, such as high availability and multi-site deployments, advance policy features, Web content control, P2P file sharing control, IM control, streaming media control, application acceleration, and reverse proxy deployments.
