AirDefense CSO Richard Rushing to Speak at InfoSec World Conference & Expo 2005

As part of the InfoSec Conference's focus on Wireless and Remote Access Security, Rushing's presentation, titled 'Next Generation Wireless Attacks,' will look at security issues currently threatening wireless networks. Rushing will discuss the present and future generations of wireless threats that will enable network and security administrators to build strategies and defenses to protect against such wireless network attacks.

A recognized IT security expert with almost 20 years experience, Richard Rushing has worked with computers and networks as a system analyst, network administrator, engineer, consultant and architect. He has participated in a number of corporate security councils tasked with setting standards and policies for entire organizations. Prior to taking the position of Chief Security Officer at AirDefense, Rushing was Chief Technical Officer of VeriSign's Network Security Services division where he identified and developed products and services to maintain leading-edge security solutions.

Rushing has taught many classes and workshops on intrusion detection and is a highly sought after speaker on information security.
